Anicca Creative LLC, doing business as Conscious Movement Lab ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at consciousmovementlab.com and provides an online movement membership platform. We are based in Minnesota, USA, and serve members worldwide.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, we are the data controller of your personal information. You can reach us at ashley@consciousmovementlab.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you visit our website or become a member. It applies to all visitors, prospective members, and paying members.
By using our website or Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with how we handle your data, please do not use our website or Service.
Information you give us directly
When you create an account or purchase a membership, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect your IP address and approximate location, browser type and device information, pages you visit, content you view, and how you navigate through the site. This is standard across almost all websites and helps us keep the platform running smoothly.
Information from our service providers
Our email platform, MailerLite, collects data on whether you open our emails and click links within them. This helps us understand what content is useful to our members. Stripe shares payment confirmation and transaction status with us so we can fulfil your membership.
We use your information to set up and manage your account, process your payments, deliver your membership and content, and send you essential service emails like receipts and account notifications. We also use it to respond to any questions you send us, to improve our content and platform, and to detect and prevent fraud.
If you have opted in to our mailing list, we use your name and email address to send you newsletters and updates through MailerLite.
We will never use your information for purposes that would surprise you, or sell it to anyone.
For EU and UK members — legal bases under GDPR:
We process your data to perform our contract with you (account management, payments, content delivery), on the basis of your consent (marketing emails), and where we have a legitimate interest (improving our service, fraud prevention). We also process certain data to comply with legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.
If you have subscribed to our mailing list, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us at ashley@consciousmovementlab.com. We will action your request promptly.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional emails related to your account.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the three service providers who help us run our platform:
Podia — our membership platform. They host your account and deliver your content. They collect your name and email address and have their own data processing terms in place. You can read their privacy policy at podia.com/privacy.
MailerLite — our email platform. They store your name and email address and track email engagement. You can read their privacy policy at mailerlite.com/privacy-policy.
Stripe — our payment processor. They handle all card transactions and store your payment details securely. We only ever see the last four digits of your card number. You can read their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our members.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and for two years after closure in case of any follow-up queries. Payment and transaction records are kept for seven years as required by US tax law. If you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we remove you within 30 days. Website traffic data is retained for 12 months.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Our website uses cookies — small text files placed on your device — to keep you logged in and to help the site function correctly. These are set by Podia, our platform provider.
We also use a tracking pixel in our marketing emails (via MailerLite) that tells us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. You can prevent this by disabling image loading in your email client.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the site works for you.
We are based in the USA. Our service providers are located as follows: MailerLite is based in the EU and is subject to GDPR directly. Stripe and Podia are US-based and transfer data internationally using appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you have questions about how your data is protected in transit, email us at ashley@consciousmovementlab.com.
Everyone, regardless of location, can ask us what data we hold about you, request corrections, unsubscribe from marketing, or ask us to delete your data. Email ashley@consciousmovementlab.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Our Service is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 for users in the EU and UK. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us at ashley@consciousmovementlab.com and we will delete the information promptly.
We use HTTPS encryption on our website, PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe, and access controls to limit who can view member data. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution to protect your information.
If a data breach occurs that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law, including Minnesota's breach notification law and the GDPR's 72-hour reporting requirement.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top and notify you by email. Continued use of our Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
